NGORONGORO — NA1NOKANOKA, OLMOTI — EMPAKAAI — OLDONYO LENGAL
(7 DAYS/6 NIGHTS).
DAY 1. Depart Arusha after breakfast and drive to Ngorongoro crater at Simba Camp site for lunch. After lunch you will be at leisure on the crater rim. Dinnerd and overnight at Simba campsite.
DAY 2. After breakfast you will do a half day crater tour. Lunch at Simba campsite. After lunch you will drive to a village of Nainokanoka, situated at the rim of Olmoti crater. Dinner and overnight at Olmoti crater rim camp site.
DAY 3. The greate trek to the Maasai water hole starts after breakfast. In six hours time, the trek brings you to the Maasai hole. The camp will be made for an overnight.
DAY 4: The trek starts off after breakfast and takes you to the rim of the Empakaai Crater. You will camp close to a Maasai school, where there is a facility of water and toilets. To days trek lasts for seven hours. Lunch, dinner and overnight at the camp.
DAY 5. Depart to Oldonyo Lengai Mountain for camping and overnight. Water is scarce in this area, so make sure that you have enough water, with you. The trek takes a mininum of seven hours.
DAY 6. Depart very early at 06:00 hrs to Ngaresero camp to avoid high mid — day temperatures. The trek takes a minimum of five hours.
DAY 7. After breakfast the car will come and pick you for a trip back to Arusha.
