(3 DAYS/2 NIGHTS).
DAY 1. Transfer from Arusha to Momella gate where the trekk starts. Game viewing enroute at Serengeti Ndogo. From Momella gate (1500 M asp ascend to Miriakamba Hut (2500 m sdl) takes 3 hours. Lunch Dinner and overnight.
DAY 2. From Miriakamba but ascend to Saddle but which takes 4 hours (altitude 3500
m). After noon proceed to the summit of little Meru (3820) which takes 1 hour then back to saddle but for dinner and overnight.
DAY 3. Leave saddle but at the early hours of the morning and ascend to the Mt. Meru (4565 m) and walk around the rim of Meru crater. Then return to saddle but for breakfast. Walk down across alpine desert. Transfer back to Arusha.
